Christmas Celebrations at College: MAGI - 2007 By Kathelene Sumana, (3rd CBBT)10/02/2008 Magi 2007 the journey ends……… The annual interclass Christmas Cultural festival was a week long celebration, from Dec 1st to Dec 8th. The seven day festival comprised competitions in many events like Choreography, Street Play,Poetry Writing, Crib Making, Carol Singing etc. Students from all the streams participated with the Josephite spirit and enthusiasm. This week long festival ended on Dec 8th with the grand finale. CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: BSW DEPARTMENT By 10/02/2008 The department of Bachelors of social work under the guidance of Ms. Jordana Brooks and Mr. Xavier Prasad conducted Christmas celebration with the children of the state home for boys on 21st December 2007. State home had 205 children. The children are from different ackgrounds. Many of the children are run away children, children who were on the street, the children who are caught up in child labour, missing children and most of them are exploited. They try to repatriate the children, that is to get them back to their houses or provide them free education and vocational training.more...
HINDI PARISHAD FOOD FEST IN AID OF SUMMANAHALLI LEPE By 10/02/2008 Under the leadership of Rahul Peter D'Souza of II PEM and the guidance of Professor Fariyal Shaikh the Hindi Parishad organized a Food Fest on 14th December 2007. The members of the Parishad prepared food in their homes and sold in campus at noon for an hour for a cause. The cause was the Summanahalli Lepers. The college donated Rs. 2500/- from the Food Fest to the Organisation. Congratulations to the students of the Parishad.
