It's a fabulous experience to be on air, especially when the entire city can listen to you. Lalit, student from Sherwood, of Class VII was one of the contestants in the 'Young Radio Jockey Search' competition sponsored by Milk Maid Fun Shake. He among fifty other students from different schools was one of the three lucky winners who got to host his own show on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. more...

Children’s day competitions

This year’s list of competitions included Rangoli, Flower arrangement and food without fire for the seniors and the likes of junk art, fancy dress, drawings & paintings, recitations, clay modeling, greeting card making, etc for the juniors. Colour powder, rock salt, “kolamaavu” (white flour), chalk, perspiration, chatter… This was the scene at the terrace where the rangoli competition was taking place. The Hidden Heroes

Aadesh K. Chetty This young man of class X of Sherwood Hall, is the shooting champion. He has won a bronze medal in 50m open sight prone. He has won medals in Coimbatore, during a state meet.
