QUIZTROIKA 2007 By phoenix12/11/2007 An inter-SBOA quiz competition, labeled Quiztroika 2007 by the organizers was conducted by SBOA Coimbatore on the 3rd of November. All the seven schools of the SBOA rainbow participated in a quiz that was highly challenging.
Our school was represented by B.Varun, N.Mukundhan and Preetham Harinath of classes 8K, 8K and 8C respectively in the junior category while N. Sriram, Mehernaz Jila and Shreyas V of 12 C, 11G and 11B respectively comprised the senior team.

DISCIPLINE CARDS By bhuvana14/11/2007 Yellow cards, red cards. No, we're not talking about football here... its the new system of disciplinary cards introduced by the school authorities.
Basically, there are 3 cards - yellow, pink and red that will be handed out for the various misdeeds committed. For example, a yellow card is given for late attendance, irregularity in completing assignments, and coming to school in improper uniform.
Three warnings will lbe given to the students before a yellow card is handed out. If a student receives three yellow cards, then a pink card is handed out.

OUR RESPECTED PRINCIPAL By Chandraskear14/11/2007 Our respected Senior Principal Mrs.J.M.Sathyakumari received the National Best Teacher Award on September 5th, Teacher's Day . This is a great honour for us as the students of the SBOA school and Junior College.It was presented to her by the President of India Smt.Prathiba Patil in Delhi.
Our Senior Principal has not only achieved the Best Teacher award but was also awarded the Best Principal award by The Mylapore academy.
