PapyrusClubs Robotics Challenge 2010
Students from Chennai are preparing for the battle of the robots this February! PapyrusClubs is conducting the first edition of PC Robotics Challenge. Students from different PC Robotics Schools are preparing for the Robo Soccer and the Robo Prison Break competitions with their eyes on the title.
The PapyrusClubs Robotics Challenge (PC-RC) is an Annual Inter-school Robotics Competition for schools. The event for this year, PC-RC 2010, will be a half-day event held on the 20th of February. As part of this event, there will be two Robot challenges- Robo Soccer and Robo Prison Break. Participants will have to build the Robot models and program them at the venue for both the challenges.

Robo Soccer
Remote control the 3 robots on your side to play a soccer match.
The first round of the competition will have each team facing two other teams. Points will be awarded for a win, a draw or a loss. The points earned from these two matches will be added to select the top 4 teams for the next round, which will be the semi-finals.
The semi-finals and finals will be knockout matches- the winners will move to the next round.
Robo Prison Break
Participants are required is to build a robot that identifies obstacles and avoids collisions while escaping out of a maze (prison).
Robots will start from a starting point and must successfully pass by all obstacles and reach the safe zone with the fastest time to be the winner.
