D.A.V Boys School Wins PapyrusClubs.com sponsored Maths Talent Quiz

The PapyrusClubs.com sponsored a Maths Talent Quiz conducted by the Ramanujan Academy of Maths Talent. The event was held on 3rd December as part of the 121st anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramanujan.

More than 30 schools participated in this quiz event and the objective type questions were corrected by eminent judges and winners were announced.

The winners were as follows in the students’ category:

Sri Sai Mali and S.Mali Sundaram of DAV Boys School, Gopalapuram won the first prize.

Sri.G.Sajith and Sri. Nitis Ramkumar of P.S.Senior Sec.School Mylapore won the 2nd prize.

Sri. V.Roopak and Sri Arij Ghyan of P.S.B.B. KK.Nagar won the 3rd Prize

As part of this event, a colloquium – paper presentation for PG teachers was also conducted.

Ms. S.Jayanthi- PGT Biology – of P.S. Hr.Sec. School Mylapore finished first, followed by Mr.Lakshmi Arunachalam - P.G.T. Physics of The Hindu Sr.Sec. School; who won the 2nd prize and M.K.Suganthi Sekar – Dept. of Biology – of Jai Gopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya bagged the 3rd prize respectively.

The function was graced and awards were given away by Dr.K.Srinivasa Rao – Biographer of Ramanujan and D.S.T professor of Maths – Sastra Kumbakonam, Dr.R.Bhavanishankar – Dean M.G.R.University, Chennai and Sri. K.Vaidyanathan – Editor, Dinamani.
