Define moral values

I think we need to first define "moral values".
I think they refer to an individual's value systems and beliefs that can lead him/her to become a better person and therefore have better relationships and equations with friends and family.
I think it refers to values like "I shall be truthful at all times" or "I shall be helpful to other people".
In general, some sort of "Ten Commandments" that hold higher levels principles.
I definitely feel that these should be part of the school curriculum since it can lead to more rounded personalities.

Morals as a subject in Curriculum
I agree with the writer the need to have it as a part of the school curriculum.
I remember during my study days in school, till Class 9, we had Moral Science Text books. A whole hour was devoted to reading some interesting Stories wound around Moral Values. Surely, I think it had its own impact on me as a person. The stories were thoughtfully presented and well rounded up, each delivering a gem of a life value at the end of it.
Stories will still be interesting for students to listen too or read.
To make good citizens of children, catch them young and expose them to the Moral Stories.
Moral Values
Indeed in current day scenario inculcating moral values at school level is a must to ensure that all students do not get carried away peer group pressures.
