Department of computer science and engineering, Anna University is conducting a 4 day workshop (20th May to 23rd May) for school students between 8th to 12th standards. The following are the details of the workshop.
Its ABSOLUTELY FREE AND FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED. Each day the workshop spans from morning 9 to 12. The following are its details.

Curiosity is one of the most distinguishing characterisitcs of the human mind. Throughout the ages, numerous wonderful discoveries, inventions and advancements have been made, largely because of this urge to know. But, looking back at the annals of history, we find that curiosity alone is not enough. Only when combined with the ability to look at things a bit differently, does curiosity make the potent force
that drives humans towards making these discoveries.
In this workshop we present some aspects of this body of knowledge so that you too can develop this sense of curiosity and the ability to look at things differently.
We will cover some topics of knowledge in this workshop.
* Indian Mathematics
* Tarka Shastra (Logical Reasoning)
* Indian Astronomy
