Independence Day ‘relived’ at Holy Angels, Chennai

The students of this reputed School in Chennai put together a play on the occasion of the Indian Independence day on 15th August 2007. The highlight of the program was a pantomime which took the audience into truly high patriotic spirit. Many great personalities like Kodikaartha Kumaran, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi and V.O.C, were recalled and the final part stole the show. The lowering of the British Flag and the raising of the Indian flag drew almost real-time excitement as on that great day the 15 of Aug 1947. The students roared in cheering the raising of the National Flag.
