Centre for promotion of ethics and human values By S.Gandhimathi30/10/2008 Youngsters around the world are increasingly affected by violence, social problems and a lack of respect for each other and the world around them. The only solution is to emphasize on teaching ethics and human values.
The UGC has given a grant of Rs. 1, 40,000 to the department of English to run a centre for promotion of ethics and human values. The department is offering a certificate course in ethics and human values. The department also proposes to organize a two day seminar on ethics and human values in the month of December.
