THE WINNING MUSICAL By Sneha and Amitha09/06/2008 The East-West School is as famous in curricular activities as in academics. In this temple of learning where academics, sports and cultural activities are equally encouraged, the students of the school have exhibited their inherent skills by winning in the various inter-school competitions conducted in the year 2007-2008.
One such awaited competition was 'The Hindu Fest 2008' organized by one of the leading newspapers in India, The Hindu.
It included various competitions like flower arrangement,dance competition, cartooning and group song which had to be played with a band.

And with every passing day, I feel my rising fear,
My textbooks all feel heavier
My notes are not so clear

MY FAREWELL, SO LONG, AND GOOD BYE TO SCHOOL By Avinash16/06/2008 It’s heartening to see that we are finally tearing away.
Its with sadness we say farewell in this departing way.
Even with some memories that we cannot digest.
The times spent in school are by far the best.
Our amazing school was a joyful stream of life.
In which we all first hesitated to dive.
We were promoted and pushed into the new classes.
Which were getting complicated as the time passes.
So kids who want to fool, fun and forever rest.
Don’t even think of enrolling in THE EAST WEST.
We climbed the life leaving childhood behind.
