Bala Vidya Mandir’s very own music group is fast making waves across city schools. Although untitled, they answer to the band of bvm. The band solely comprises of Harsha on the rhythm, saketh on the lead, Nakul on the keyboard/drums and recent addition of Anirudh on the bass. We all hoped history wouldn’t repeat itself. At least most of us did. A slight drizzle on the eve of our Bi decennial project day, and all our hearts sank. We had all worked hard to make this project day a success; we wouldn’t want it to be ruined by rain like last time. Thankfully, an announcement on the PA system said that the project day wouldn’t be cancelled even if the government declared a rain holiday. And we were all back on our feet again.more...

The Sankara senior secondary school, adyar conducted their annual cultural events, smaraneeyam and com vision on 2007. The events were held at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in mylapore and aimed at spotting talent among school children. It had a fun filled 2 day agenda consisting of a number of events like Music, Interior designing, Adzap, Shipwreck, Jam, Creative writing, Poetry writing, Young lawyers, Quiz , Dumb c ,collage ,poster making etc..Com Vision offered events like Business more...
